Empowering Tomorrow’s Innovators
In our increasingly global economy, Intel recognizes that curiosity, critical thinking and a strong foundation in math and science are necessary for tomorrow’s workforce to compete for the high-tech jobs of the future. In fact, according to the National Science Board, growth in math-intensive science and engineering jobs outpace overall job growth by three to one.
That is why Intel gets directly involved in education programs, political advocacy, and technology access efforts that enable today’s young people to develop the skills they need to be the innovators of tomorrow. Over the past decade alone, the company has invested more than $1 billion, and its employees have donated more than 2.5 million volunteer hours, toward this cause.
