Nvidia has launched Project Shield, an Android-based Tegra 4 tablet with special gaming controls.
Project Shield will be the first Tegra 4 device, running on Vanilla Android.
Tap the shield in the centre and enter gaming mode, tap it again to go back to Android and use it as a regular tablet.
You can add more memory via microSD, with microUSB for charging.
Shield connects to the cloud so you can play all your cloud-based games, integrates with TegraZone and includes all Google services as you'd expect from a vanilla Android device.
Multiplayer gaming is supported over Wi-Fi and it can be connected to a TV with 4k resolution supported.
