Will Samsung launch the Galaxy Tab 3 alongside the Galaxy Note 8.0 at Mobile World Congress 2013?
Samsung’s Galaxy Tab 3 has leaked online and, like the also-leaked Galaxy Note 8.0, it too will also launch at MWC 2013, according to reports.
As leaks go this one looks pretty legit – there’s a picture of the device with its box, and the claim that it’ll be launching alongside Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8.0 at MWC 2013 next month.
Last week we reported on the rumour that Samsung was looking to release a sub-£100 Nexus 7-style tablet device, one that could take on Amazon’s Kindle Fire and Google’s Nexus 7 at the lower-end of the tablet space.
Could the 7-inch Galaxy Tab 3 be that device? Perhaps – it’s certainly the right size, and affordable 7-inch tablets are most definitely the flavour of the month. The Nexus 7 outpaced Apple’s iPad in Japan for the first time in December.
The leaked image comes via PhoneArena, which claims Samsung will announce a few tablets at MWC 2013 next month. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 3 will be one of them, according to the report.
