The Sony Xperia Z has passed through the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) revealing a bunch of teardown photos and even the handset’s start-up guide. The C6602 HSPA+ model is the one that is involved in the tests, rather than the LTE C6603 model.
What we learn from some of the pictures is that the handset will include a linear oscillating vibrator for vibration duties rather than the harsher rotational vibrator. Another factor we note is that the battery looks like it will be tricky to remove and replace, unlike the Xperia S which also had an embedded battery. You can check out the full FCC documents here.
