Android Jelly Bean (version 4.1.2) is now available for the Sony Xperia T in parts of Europe, according to reports
Android Jelly Bean for the Sony Xperia T is now available in parts of Europe, indicating the EU-wide rollout of Android 4.1.2 is now underway.
The update is being made available just a day after it appeared on the PTCRB website and was certified and a week after an alpha version was released, reports GSM Arena.
Android 4.1.2 brings with it Google Now, Google’s Project Butter UI, updated features and menu settings, and new-look notifications.
Here’s a break down of what you can expect once it lands in the UK, according to one Dutch Xperia T user on the Xperia Blog:
- Updated Camera app (HDR, Superior Auto, Photo-effects)
- Updated launcher (New way to add widgets, change theme/background. New app drawer that allows the
- User to customise even more. New animations)
- New Jelly Bean Notifications
- Xperia Z boot animation
- ClearAudio+, Clear Phase, Clear Stereo
Revamped UI (White phonebook, call app etc.)
