Don’t be confused.
Project SHIELD portable is many things. It’s an Android device. It’s a console-grade game controller. It packs a bright, retina-quality screen. And, thanks to its Tegra 4 processor, it’s a 72-core graphics monster.
All these features are about furthering a single mission: gaming.
Don’t take our word for it. In our new ‘Wield the SHIELD’ video series, our own Will Park will show you what our new portable device can do. And Will’s using some of our favorite games to do it.
Here’s the plan: every Monday he’ll give you a taste of what Project SHIELD can do when coupled with a GeForce GTX-equipped PC to stream your favorite games.
And every Thursday we’ll show you what it can do with some of the console-quality games that are being built for Android devices such as Project SHIELD.
In fact, he’s already started. If you haven’t been following along, here’s a recap:
PC Monday: Tegra 4-powered Project SHIELD Visits the ‘Badass Crater of Badassitude’
Android Thursday: Project SHIELD: ‘Real Boxing’ Gonna Knock You Out
PC Monday: Project SHIELD Has The Need For Speed (Most Wanted)
Android Thursday: Wield the SHIELD: With ‘Dead On Arrival 2′ the End of the World Never Looked So Good
