How to save content to the cloud on Nokia Lumia 820

We show you how to back your Nokia Lumia 820 up to the cloud

Ah the Cloud, that wonderful place where we can save your music and photos, share content and, more importantly, back-up our devices without having to go to the trouble of dragging, dropping and labelling all of our important stuff.

Nokia’s Lumia 820 includes a Cloud backup function right out of the box, which makes it easy for users to keep their important files safe and sound, no matter what should happen to their device.

Here’s how to take advantage of the feature:

[NOTE – You’ll need a Microsoft account to take advantage of this feature, so if you don’t have one already you should set one up now]

• Swipe left


• Choose the ‘cog’ icon


• Select ‘Settings’


• Tap ‘Backup’


• Sign-in to your Microsoft account


• Choose what you want to back up

Restoring your files is even easier, simply follow the on-screen prompts when you sign-in to your Microsoft account on any new device!
