Take a look at the HTC One in all its aluminium-bodied glory with this selection of photos
The HTC One is finally here with its slick design, crystal clear touch display and plenty of power from its high-end Qualcomm quad-core processor under the aluminium unibody.
As you can see from the pictures here, it’s a pretty good-looking phone, available in either white or black.
It features a 4.7-inch Super LCD3 touchscreen with a 1920x1080 pixel Full HD resolution at 468 pixels-per-inch (ppi), delivering some truly stunning visuals.
The processor is a 1.7GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon 600 with 2GB of RAM and an Adreno 320 graphics processing unit (GPU) while the camera is rated at 4-megapixels but uses and f/2.0 aperture and Ultrapixel technology for a more detailed image, along with optical image stabilisation (like the Nokia Lumia 920).
The HTC One has a 2,300 mAh battery and comes in either 32GB or 64GB internal storage variants.
Google’s Android 4.1 is loaded onto the handset along with a new version of HTC Sense – Sense 5.
This version is completely different from its predecessors with a streamlined setup featuring two homescreens (though you can add more).
One of these is the Blink Feed, which is a tile-based news and social networking aggregation suite designed to allow you access at a glance to the content most important to you.
Sense 5 also has a new typeface, new icons and has been specially optimised for the HTC One’s Full HD display.
You also get HTC BoomSound, which combined Beats Audio technology with front-facing stereo speakers and a dedicated amplifier for overall better sound quality.
HTC Zoe allows the new camera setup to take multishot images and video footage simultaneously with every photo and then gives you the option of creating merged image and video showreels.
Sense TV is another new addition which turns the HTC One into an infrared remote control and interactive program guide for your TV or set-top box.
