Byte Size Tips: How to Disable Facebook’s Beeping Sound Notification

Not happy with Facebook’s notification sounds? You can easily turn them off by heading to the menu button, clicking Account Settings, and then going to the Notifications section through the link on the left.

You should then be able to change the “How you get notifications” setting and uncheck the “Play a sound” option.
