Looks like XOLO wants try to cut in on some Samsung’s action on Thursday. Just like Ubuntu announced their tablet on the HTC One day, XOLO is going to announce the “FASTEST SMARTPHONE EVER”. Bold words XOLO. But they just might pull it off.
The image above is part of the invitation that was sent out to people. It shows the top of the “Gao”, which is this apparent fast phone. Not going to lie, just the top of it looks pretty sexy. Now XOLO has been working with Intel for a bit now, and after other handsets have come out, they now have what they are calling the Clover Trail+. It is a second CPU core that will help with the performance and graphics of the new phone. Check out the specs for the Clover Trail+ line:
- 2.0GHz Z2580, 1.6GHz Z2560, and the 1.2GHz Z2560 and 1.2GHz Z2520
- Two PowerVR SGX 544MT2 GPUs (large performance boost)
- Core Upscaling up to 533MHz (using boost mode to augment graphics performance)
- Support full HD resolutions up to 1900 x 1200 pixels
- HSPA+42 Mbps modems
- No LTE suppot (not supported by Clover Trail+ series)
- Supports 2 cameras (primary 16Mpx/secondary 2Mpx); 15 frames per second in burst mode
Now I am guessing they will be using their very own operating system, so probably no Android going into this speed freak. Let us know what you guys think.
