New Samsung Galaxy S4 Shots Leaked, Hardware Confirmed?

We have already checked out a teaser video about the Samsung Galaxy S4 which basically was a whole lot about nothing, and what you see above is a snapshot of the Galaxy S4, courtesy from the nice folks over at @evleaks who have been rather spot on with their more recent stories on upcoming handsets. Do you see the quartet of hardware and software information on the Galaxy S4 above? Is it true, or not? Only time will tell when March 14th rolls around and we bring you word from New York City.

The image above appears to be a snapshot of the alleged Galaxy S4, where it does seem to be more of a placeholder than anything else. While there is nothing concrete about the Galaxy S4’s final physical shape being shown, instead prefer to rely on a form factor that is obviously different, and yet in some strange ways, the same, as that of the Galaxy S3.

Assuming what was leaked is a “preview” of sorts, it does seem as though Samsung has decided to drop the capacitive buttons which were based on the rather tiny bezel located at the bottom of the smartphone. As for whispers of a 4.99” Super AMOLED display that boasts of Full HD resolution, it seems to be spot on, in addition to the rather squarish shape which will most probably end up as a love-it-or-hate-it affair.

Other than that, Samsung has apparently thrown in a 13-megapixel camera into the mix, in addition to 2GB RAM and Android 4.2 Jelly Bean on board, which is a good thing since you no longer need to wait for any software updates. Depending on your budget and presumably, region, the Galaxy S4 looks set to arrive in three internal memory configurations - 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.

With slightly more than a week to go before everything (or not) about the Galaxy S4 is revealed, you might choose to spend the next few days left with your Galaxy S3 in the most loving manner, before you hand it over for an upgrade.
