After the event today, Samsung went on record stating that the Galaxy S3 and S4 will be getting their Android 4.3 updates in October. You Galaxy Note II users out there are probably wondering where is your Android 4.3 is. Samsung did not mention anything about the Note series, but I imagine it will be shortly after. Since the Galaxy Note 3 is coming with Android 4.3 out of the box, it will not take long for them to come out with a firmware update for the Note II. At least we hope not.
Kind of seems funny now how Samsung said they were going to wait for Android 4.3 as oppose to updating their devices to Android 4.2.2, and then Android 4.4 gets announced the day before. Not a big deal since we probably will not see anything with Android 4.4 until the next Nexus is shown off. At least you Galaxy users out there can get excited that you will be seeing an upgrade in about a month or so. Let us know what you think about this.
