Sony received some pretty scary news this week, as we were alerted to an impending Zombie Apocalypse.
Although no exact date could be confirmed, it seems the zombie outbreak could occur at any given time and all necessary precautions should be taken. Not wanting to waste a second, we put together a few top tips to help you survive in the dark days that are sure to follow. Who knew Xperia Z5 could come in so handy?
Make sure you follow our Handbook to survival, or you could find yourself as Zombie fodder!
It was treats not tricks this Halloween, as we released two new premium Xperia themes just in time for the weekend. You can choose from a ghostly live wallpaper that will show an apparition randomly and is sure to send a shiver through your spine or the cutesy Hello Kitty alternative that we adore! There’s lots of bright colours and cute artwork so you can jazz up your Xperia and get into the spooky spirit.
Not stopping there, we’re also giving one lucky Xperia Lounge user the chance to win a brand new Xperia Z5 this weekend. All you have to do is answer an Xperia question, and you could receive slightly more than a bag of candy this Halloween. Head over here to try out your luck.
Elsewhere this week, all eyes fell on London’s Royal Albert Hall for the World Premier of ‘SPECTRE’, James Bond’s 24th adventure. Screened in 4K using Sony’s SRX-R320 dual projection system, the star studded audience was in for a treat as every detail of the film was brought to life with thrilling realism.
The World Premiere was attended by Their Royal Highnesses The Duke and Duchess of Cambridge and Prince Harry as well as all of the films leading actors including Daniel Craig, Naomie Harris, Andrew Scott and Ralph Fiennes. Director Sam Mendes and producers Michael G. Wilson and Barbara Broccoli also joined the cast.
SPECTRE is now the second Bond film to be mastered and delivered to cinemas as a 4K DCP (Digital Cinema Package). What a fantastic week for Sony!
That’s all from us. Have a good weekend and Happy Halloween from everyone at Sony Mobile!
