Ksenia Sazanovich (@ssazanovich) calls the wild forests, snowy boulders, mountain streams and rocky caves of Krasnoyarsk, Russia, home. “Each season, our nature looks totally different. You can shoot the same landscape and each time it will look unique,” the 25-year-old photographer from Siberia says. “People definitely play a huge role in my pictures. I think they are a linking element between the landscape and the observer.” At this year’s Worldwide InstaMeet, Ksenia will experience the natural beauty of Siberia with fellow Instagrammers from her community. “For many, it’s a good reason to get off the beaten path and see things from a different perspective,” she says. #LifeOnEarthWWIM13
