It’s Friday, which means only one thing. We’re back to bring you the latest news from the world of Sony and Android – and what a week it has been.
In case you missed it, there’s been serious hype this week around Uncharted 4, with the first reviews landing ahead of its May 10th release. The game is set three years after Uncharted 3, and sees the main characters Sam and Drake setting off to find Libertalia, the pirate utopia deep in the forests of Madagascar. Players are taken on an epic journey around the globe, from jungles to urban cities and snow-capped peaks on the hunt for Captain Avery’s fortune.

Remember it’s available only on PlayStation®.
In other news, Google opened its autonomous driving project to outsiders this week with an agreement to install its current self-driving technology and test gear in a fleet of 100 new Chrysler Pacifica minivans. The project will be based on the 2017 Chrysler Pacifica, with the aim to have the first few on the road later this year.
Next up, if you’re an Xperia fan then you’re definitely in for a treat. Just this week we announced that our brand new intelligent Xperia X series is available to pre-order . We announced the latest devices back at MWC and now the time is finally here. The new X Series offers a range of choice and technologies for consumers wanting everything from the fast, intelligent camera technology (Xperia X) to a premium smartphone with super-powerful features and performance (Xperia X Performance), to a smartphone with stunning design and a low-light selfie camera (Xperia XA).
Finally this week, the guys over at Android Pit shared some great developer options, tips and tricks to help you on your way. One example Android Pit recommended was to enable the ‘Stay Awake feature’. Doing that allows your display to remain active when your device is charging and your battery life isn’t threatened. Useful, right? Let us know if you get chance try them out.
Unfortunately that’s all we have time for right now. Tune in at the same next week for more updates. Enjoy your weekend.
