“I first photographed Ellie when she was a relatively new artist. Then a few years down the line, her manager was like, ‘She’s going on tour next week. Do you want to come?’ That was about four years ago, and I’ve been working with her since. Ellie’s career has progressed just massively over the past few years. When I started, she was doing small academies. Now we’re doing arenas like Madison Square Garden. So it’s a whole different ball game.” —24-year-old Conor McDonnell (@conormcdphoto) on touring with singer Ellie Goulding (@elliegoulding). The Liverpool-bred, London-based music photographer has also worked with Calvin Harris and was even lucky enough to take photos of Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s wedding.
