Photographing the backstage frenzy at New York Fashion Week is a significant change of scene and pace for Cassidy Araiza (@cassidy_araiza). “I love going to desolate locations like Sleepy Hollow, and I have an obsession with Coney Island,” the photographer says. “I love the eerie feel.” This is Cassidy’s second season shooting backstage at @adamselman’s show. The setting couldn’t be more different, but Cassidy’s attention to detail was the same. “@stephen.shore’s Uncommon Places influenced me a lot,” he says, describing the photographs he made of the beauty and nail art backstage. “He found the little things interesting.”
