Huawei’s subsidiary brand Honor today launched the Honor 9i, the company’s latest smartphone in India. The device was initially introduced as Maimang 6 in China and Honor 2i in Malasia a few days back. The essential highlights of the device include its FullView display, dual rear and front cameras and Kirin 659 chipset.
Speaking about the specifications of the smartphone in-depth, it sports a 5.9-inch Full HD+ FullView display with a 2160 x 1080 pixels resolution and an 18:9 aspect ratio. Underneath it is powered by octa-core Kirin 659 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The phone has got a rear-facing fingerprint sensor and it runs Android 7.1 Nougat based EMUI 5.1.
In terms of imaging as mentioned above, there are four cameras in action. At its rear, there is a 16MP primary camera and a 2MP camera with a dual-tone LED flash, whereas at its front there is a 13MP camera + 2MP camera accompanied with a soft LED flash. Connectivity wise you do get a Hybrid Dual SIM support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth and a 3.5mm audio jack. The whole package is loaded by 3340mAh battery.
The Honor 9i comes in Aurora Blue, Graphite Black and Prestige Gold colour option which is priced at $ 276 (Rs. 17,999). The phone will be exclusively available from Flipkart starting from October 4th in India.
