We posted earlier in the year about the Galaxy A5 2018 leaking, as well as apparent confirmation of the whole Galaxy A series line-up being rebooted, so it's not too surprising then to hear that the higher-tier model has also now leaked.
The specs come courtesy of a Geekbench benchmark results page, which shows an Exynos 7885 14nm octa-core processor; it features two ARM Cortex-A73 cores and six Cortex-A53 cores, as well as a Mali-G71 GPU - this is the same setup pegged for the Galaxy A5 2018 as well.
Quite a beefy engine, then, but hold your horses, it gets better; the Galaxy A7 2018 will be able to call on 6GB of RAM! Yes, 6GB, that's a number typically associated with flagship phones, in fact some flagships from inside 2017 are still only on 4GB.
That snippet of news would also perhaps suggest that Samsung will be upping the stakes across the portfolio going forward - can we expect Samsung flagships in 2018 to have 6GB or possibly even 8GB RAM as standard? We can only keep our fingers crossed.
Aside from this, we already know from previous rumours that the Galaxy A series in 2018 will feature big, bezel-less design displays, and the series has always used Super AMOLED tech. Now we just need to hear about the storage, camera and battery!
