You can now use the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact on Verizon, if you buy it from somewhere else

Good news for fans of smaller smartphones who live in the US and happen to have Verizon as their carrier of choice. The network nicknamed Big Red has just certified the Sony Xperia XZ2 Compact for use on its airwaves. Unfortunately though, Verizon isn't going to be selling the phone itself. Still, this certification helps if you plan to buy an XZ2 Compact elsewhere and then use it on this particular carrier.
