This is Samsung's latest and greatest Android slate, with a 9.7in display, stylus support, tons of power, and options for either Wi-Fi only or Wi-Fi and 4G.
At £469 or £519 it costs a fair bit, but for that you get 32GB of storage, a Super AMOLED display, 4GB of RAM, quad AKG speakers, a 6,000mAh battery, and a fast Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor.
Galaxy Note 8 - Best Phablet
Ok, so technically a phablet isn't a tablet, but I think this is well worth a look if you're in the market for a larger screen device.
The Galaxy Note 8 is massive compared to most phones, but compared to even a 7in tablet it is very portable and easy to handle while still being great for watching films, playing games, or productivity tasks - the kind of stuff you typically do on a tablet.
It has a built-in stylus and the Super AMOLED display is gorgeous, plus you can still make calls on it. It also has one of the best cameras in the business and very impressive battery life.
Galaxy Book - Best Windows Convertible
If you're not simply after an Android slate but are more interested in a convertible hybrid that can double as a laptop, and you want the Windows operating system, then the Galaxy Book is going to be your top choice.
The Galaxy Book has quite a wide price range from £649 up to £1439 depending on the spec you choose and the bundled-in accessory package. The lower tier price options aren't going to come with a keyboard dock, meaning you'll have to buy one separately. You also have to choose between 12in and 10.6in models, with the smaller being cheaper and the larger packing a higher quality Super AMOLED display (as opposed to TFT).
