UMIDIGI F1: kick-ass specs and wallet-friendly $200 price tag

The year is just getting started but UMIDIGI is already throwing down the gauntlet for smartphone value proposition. Indeed, its latest handset, the F1, is up for sale and brings with it a ton of hardware to the table but with a budget-friendly cost.

Key among the specifications for the UMIDIGI F1 are a Helio P60 AI processor, 128GB worth of storage, and a generous 5150mAh battery. Impressive stuff to be sure, but even more appealing when you consider it’s just $200.

Coming in at a mere 8.8mm thickness, the UMIDIGI F1 runs Android 9 Pie, the latest version of the operating system from Google. It’s not often you see the newest release of Android on an unlocked phone in this price range.

The display is among the largest you’ll find in phones with 6.3-inches of full waterdrop real estate. Resolution is 2340 x 1080 pixels bringing about a 409 pixels per inch. Further, the cutout is one of the more unobtrusive “notches” you’ll find. All things considered, you’re looking at a 92.7 percent screen ratio.

As for cameras, the F1 packs a dual configuration on the rear with 16-megapixels and 8-megapixels and a F/1.7 aperture. This enables not only great low-light shots, but also stunning portrait photos with bokeh effect.

Rounding things out, the UMIDIGI F1 has dual 4G VoLTE, global bands, face unlock, and a fingerprint sensor. Oh, and 18W fast charging and NFC are on board, too. It’s so much phone for not much money.

Available in three colors (black, red, and gold), the sleek, slim, sexy phone can be purchased for just $200. To learn more about the phone, head to the UMIDIGI website.
