Samsung Galaxy Note 8.0 with S-Pen leaks online

Samsung’s upcoming Galaxy Note 8.0 to feature S-Pen technology, says French Android blog

Yet another image of a what’s said to be Samsung’s Galaxy Note 8.0 has leaked online. This time the leak comes via Frandroid and shows off the Note 8.0 alongside the Galaxy Note 2.

The Galaxy Note 8.0 is expected to feature Samsung’s S-Pen stylus and launch at Mobile World Congress 2013, according to reports.

Rumoured specs for the device include: 2GB of RAM, 16 or 32GB of internal memory, MicroSD card reader, 5-megapixel camera sensor, 1.3-megapixel front camera, Wi-Fi 802.11, Bluetooth 4.0, and USB 2.0 connectivity, and a 4600 mAh battery.

We’d expect the device to run Android Jelly Bean (version 4.2) overlaid with Samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX. Frandroid’s report also claims the Note 8.0 will feature a 1280x800 Super Clear LCD display.

Samsung confirmed that it would be launching a new Note device at MWC 2013 last week but did not reveal anything else about the device. Following a series of leaked images, however, many now expect the MWC 2013 Note launch to be the Galaxy Note 8.0.

Mobile World Congress 2013 kicks off on February 28.
