HTC has confirmed the HTC One mini will be receiving Android 4.3 Jelly Bean as the rollout begins. There’s also an upgrade to HTC Sense 5.5 coming for UK users.
The Sense 5.5 update brings with it an improved BlinkFeed screen, which can now be toggled on or off and has support added for Instagram and Google+, plus the much needed addition of an offline viewing mode. There are improvements to the UltraPixel camera which can now lock focus and exposure. Video Highlights have been doubled and you can now customise the galleries themselves.
There’s also the addition of HTC Sense’s TV app which allows users to order their channel listings the same way they appear on their TV.
Christmas has come early for HTC One mini owners in the UK as the over the air update should be available before the day is out. Enjoy.
