The House of Marley has really grown on us over the last few months. The company thrives on sustainable produced accessories with limited impact on the environment. Despite this noble cause, some might say the companies portfolio was starting to look dated.
The company wasted no time releasing seven new products at CES 2019. This includes many devices across its lineup. The most interesting has a major influence by Google.
Get Together Mini
CES is full of updates to hardware lineups and House of Marley has joined the Google Assistant market with the new Get Together Mini speaker. Voice-enabled speakers are in big demand these days and House of Marley didn’t want to be left behind. The company did stay true to its eco-minded ethos though.
The Get Together Mini speaker is crafted from bamboo, recyclable aluminum, and Marley’s signature REWIND fabric. For those that don’t know, this is a blend of organic hemp, cotton, and recycled plastic fibers.
All these materials combine to give the Google Assistant a Marley twist in a stylish body available for $199.99 this August. The Get Together supports all the major features of Google Cast for multiroom playback, is Bluetooth compatible and even has a built-in power bank to charge your phone on the go.
Exodus and Exodus ANC Over-ear Headphones
House of Marley always strikes a balance between the environment and premium audio with its products. With that in mind, it has introduced two new flagship models of over the ear headphones: the Exodus and Exodus ANC.
The base materials are pretty similar. You’ll find FSC certified wood, stainless steel, aluminum, and natural leathers making up the headphones. The main difference is the ANC (active noise cancellation) edition. As you’d suspect they offer full noise cancellation for an additional blackout of your surroundings.
The standard Exodus is rated for 30-hours of Bluetooth playback, while the ANC edition takes a slight hit offering 24-hours of uptime. The Exodus is set to go on sale in March for $199.99 and the ANC will have to wait for a $249.99 price tag in September.
Liberate Air True Wireless Earphones
Other than Google Assisted speakers, “true” wireless earphones may be the trendiest accessory in mobile at the moment. Not to be left behind, House of Marley has brought its eco-conscious designs to the Liberate Air true wireless Bluetooth earphones.
These earbuds are estimated for an above-average 7-hours of playback. They are also IPX4 rated for rain and sweat with quick controls for by tapping the exterior of the earbuds. The casing also has an auto on/off feature to preserve battery life while cradled.
But let’s be honest, it’s the stunning design that makes these earphones unique. The materials are bamboo, wood fiber composites, and REWIND fabrics. The Liberate Air truly offer wireless audio in a stunning package. The buds will be on sale in July for $149.
Redemption Wireless Earphones
These are the on-ear alternative to the previously mentioned Exodus series. The Redemption earphones offer 50 hi-definition drivers, foam cushions, and 24-hour battery life. You’ll again find a combination of FSC woods, stainless steel, and REWIND fabric blends.
The Redemption wireless earphones will be available for purchase in July. The estimated retail price is $99. This should offer a nice budget alternative for those not looking to spend as much on the Exodus models.
No Bounds XL Portable Speaker
It’s an oldie, but a goodie: the portable Bluetooth speaker. The No Bounds XL uses my new favorite of cork as the main material. This gives the speaker a durable construction, dampens vibrations, and even floats.
There’s a clip to keep the speaker secured while on the go as well. The speaker is rated for 16-hours of battery life and has a power bank for charging your phone too. The No Bounds XL is available now with a $149.99 value.
Stir It Up Wireless Turntable
And lastly, no Marley party would be complete without the Stir It Up wireless turntable. This new rendition of the classic vinyl player is engineered from bamboo, REWIND fabrics, and recyclable aluminum.
To set it apart from its wired sibling, House of Marley has included Bluetooth 5.0 to bring the at-home audio experience the ability to connect to multiple devices. The sale price for the Stir It Up is $249.99 and will be on shelves in September.
