Is a Retina version of the iPad Mini next?

The iPad Mini is ripe for a Retina display -- and it's already in the works, according to the latest Asia-based gossip.

The "iPad Mini 2" will have a Retina screen boasting 324 pixels per inch (PPI), according to a Chinese language report via BrightWire.

That's based on an 7.9-inch iPad Mini with 2,048x1,536 resolution display -- which simply doubles the resolution of the current iPad Mini's 1,024x768 screen.

And that's the same resolution of the current 9.7-inch Retina iPad.

But packing all of those pixels into the Mini's smaller 7.9-inch display means the density jumps. So, the 324 PPI on the Mini would exceed the 264 PPI on the Retina iPad and would be just shy of the iPhone's 326.

Of course, you really don't need a source in the supply chain to speculate about a future Retina version of the iPad Mini.A similar report surfaced in November, which cited the same resolution and even the same screen manufacturer, AU Optronics.

• Before you start, make sure you have a current backup of your iOS device. You can back up through iTunes or use iCloud. The choice is yours. This is a crucial step to ensure you don't lose important data should something go wrong and you have to restore.

آبل تبطيء إنتاج شاشات آي باد من أجل آي باد ميني

طلبت شركة آبل من شركة شارب المصنعة تقليل إنتاجها من شاشات ذات حجم 9.7 بوصة والتي تصنع من أجل اجهزة iPad. وهو الامر الذي يعد إشارة الى إتجاه ىبل لتغطية العرض المتزايد على أجهزة iPad Mini.

يذكر الى أن وكالة رويترز قد اصدرت تقريرا اليوم اشارت فيه الى ان إنتاج شارب من شاشات iPad قد هبط على ادنى مستوى له الان، وهو الهبوط الذي بدا مع نهاي العام الماضي 2012.

هذه الاخبار قد لا تخص فقط iPad Mini، فغننا لو نظرنا من ناحية أخرى، فهل هذا يعني إنخفاض الطلب الشديد على اجهزة iPad ؟. أو ربما قد تأثرت مبيعاته الطلب عليه بسبب iPad Mini. وهو ما قد يشير الى تفيل المستخدمون له على شقيقة الاكبر حجما.

الجدير بالذكر أيضا أن تقارير قد أشارت في الاسبوع الماضي الى أن تصنيع مكونات جهاز iPhone 5 قد تم خفضها الى النصف، على أي حال فإن المحللون يرجعون ذلك الى رغبة آبل فر ترتيب وتنظيم سلسة منتجاتها بشكل فعال.

الان اصبح من الواضح أن شعبية iPad Mini عالية للغاية، ويبدو ان آبل لن تهتم كثيرا بسمعة الجهاز الاكبر iPad، طالما أن Mini سيحقق لآبل الدخول بقوة في سوق بيع الاجهزة اللوحية – tablet.

يذكر أن آبل في ديسمبر الماضي قامت بشحن ما بين 24 و26 مليون جهاز iPad للاسواق حول العالم. في حين تتوقع آبل أن تصل أرقام اجهزة اي باد ميني الى 7 مليون جهاز.

هل بالفعل يزيح آي باد ميني الشقيق الاكبر من الاسواق ؟. ويعد مؤشرا لفشل الجيل الجديد منه ؟. أم أن هذا برايك طبيعيا لأي منتج جديد مقارنة بالمنتجات الاقدم ؟.

أنباء عن موعد إصدار الجيل الجديد من آي باد 5 وآي باد ميني

أعلن المحلل براين وايت – Brian White الخبير والمحلل التصنيعي اليوم خلال معرض الالكترونيات الدولي CES 2013، أن شركة آبل بصدد إطلاق الجيل الجديد من آي باد 5 ذو شاشة 9.7 بوصة، وآي باد ميني - iPad mini وذلك في شهر مارس من هذا العام. وذلك بعد خمسة أشهر فقط من إطلاق النسخ السابقة.

وفي لقاءه قال وايت نصا : “عرفنا من خلال معرض CES أن شركة ىبل ستقوم بإصدار iPad 5 والجيل الثاني من iPad mini خلال شهر مارس القادم. ومن المتوقع ان يكون iPad 5 أكثر نحافة من سابقه iPad 4 والذي تم إطلاقه في أكتوبر. لكن يبدو ان نسخة iPad mini ستكون مطابقة للتصميم الاولى الذي ظهر في النسخة الاولية للمصنع”. وهي نفس المعلومات التى كان Doug Freedman المحلل التقني قد اكدها في وقت لاحق أيضا بخصوص الجيل الثاني من iPad mini تحديدا.
