Alcatel Onetouch unveils budget POP Astro for T-Mobile

Alcatel Onetouch has been on a mission to bring nice smartphones with competitive prices to consumers. The release of the POP Astro today is a continuation of this philosophy. This phone comes in at under $150, or $0 and $6.24 a month with T-Mobile. For such a small price tag, Alcatel Onetouch is still able to pack some nice specs into their device.

One of the most notable additions is LTE compatability, something that is a welcome sight on such a low budget phone. Another feature to be pointed out is the fact that it is also compatible with VoLTE. The POP Astro is powered by 1.5GHz MediaTek processor with 1GB of RAM. It comes with 4GB of internal storage which is expandable up to 32GB. A 4.5″ qHD screen with a 5MP main camera and VGA front-facing camera makes this budget phone look pretty nice. All of this is running on Android 4.4 KitKat and being powered by a 2000mAH battery.
