The G5 is a powerful smartphone - no doubt about that. It goes toe to toe with Samsung's Galaxy S7 in a spec sheet war, but we've found that, in practice, the G5 lacks a certain something, or even somethings. That said, in such a competitive smartphone market, it's incredibly hard for any device to stand out, and competition is fierce.
